Portland OR, Oct. 15, 2020 – Concrete5, an open source content management system, today announced that it has been recognized as a champion in the 2020 Web Experience Management Emotional Footprint report from SoftwareReviews, a division of IT research and advisory firm Info-Tech Research Group. The award is based on the aggregate emotional response ratings for various dimensions of the vendor-client relationship and product effectiveness, creating a powerful indicator of overall user feeling toward the vendor and product.
Summary: Chrome version 83.0.4103.61 broke concrete5 editing (and affected other CMSs), but there are two ways to fix this problem:
- the next Chrome update, version 83.0.4103.97, fixed the problem. If you have any problems editing or using concrete5 with the Chrome browser, please try updating to the latest version.
- an upgrade to concrete5, version 8.5.3, also fixed the problem. This update includes security fixes and other improvements, so you should update to the latests version when possible.
With all of the uncertain news I just wanted to briefly assure you that PortlandLabs and concrete5 are prepared and running smoothly.
We're having lots of big ideas and making big decision here about versoin 9 and the new community site.

We’ve come to believe that a good systems workflow has to be totally clear for everyone. Looking at how our github issues and process have matured over the years, it is time for a cleanup.
