The Rock ‘n' Roll Camp for Girls is a non-profit organization located in Portland, Oregon. Aimed primarily at girls between the ages of eight and eighteen, the camp teaches music and instrumentation as well as advocating social change and a positive female self-image. They needed a new website that was both easy to update and visually reflected the vibrancy and life of the camp.

With Plazm Design delivering a fantastic creative direction, Concrete built a dynamic website for the camp to help foster the community and extend the program's reach. Using the Concrete CMS framework was essential, as the camp's website functions as a significant part of their business and requires that the content can be easily updated. Through CMS, it's simple for administrators to upload photos and videos from the camp sessions and display them in a rich media setting. The website, which features a colorful, hip Flash introduction, offers products for sale and accepts monetary donations through two merchant gateways.

"The message of the Rock ‘n' Roll Camp for Girls is fantastic, and it was something everyone here was enthusiastic about," says Franz Maruna, CEO of Concrete CMS. "I have a daughter of my own, and I can't wait to send her there when she's old enough to rock."
